  Programs you couldn't watch as a kid - Chocky (UK)

  when i was a kid, my mother wouldn't let me watch a program called chocky.

  for those of you who live outside the uk, and those who didn't even know about this childrens program if you lived in the uk, .

  see the link below...my mother thought this show had "spiritism" in it.

  yes I remember that! Is it a wisconsin thing? I just said it to some of my co workers the other day...it's IBT time! But they just looked at me funny. They do that a lot....

  what was it that was the real eye opener for you?.

  for me, it was after watching the video, "jehovah's witnesses; a non-prophet organization," and the point on how the org puts itself in a place between jesus and mankind.

  a position which does not exist scripturally.

  I think what did it for me was when the elders started following me trying to catch me doing something wrong. They would just happen to show up wherever I was! That was creepy enough to make me want to stop going to meetings. Then I found the internet...and the rest is history.

  I think my cat is a crack addict! :S

  ok, it isn't really crack... but it might as well be!.

  i have to be very careful not to leave any plastic bags anywhere around my apartment or my cat will try to eat it.

  i'm always paying close attention to the plastic bags that i bring home from the store... they all go straight in to a covered trash can so that the cat can't get them.. now, for the last two days he has been puking all over the place and i can't find any plastic that he might have been eating off of... but i am finding the plastic in his puke... so i know thats what is going one.

  My cat eats plastic whenever he gets the chance. But only the celophane type like the kind that comes on a frozen dinner. (is that celophane?)

  Anyway, the turd likes to be really obvious about it and then run away so that we have to chase him and give him attention. He is so weird. He also likes to molest me in my sleep. I'll wake up from a deep sleep and he's sitting on my head. doh!

  The very last time I was at a Kingdom Hall, before I was disfellowshipped, I went to a Sunday meeting, but left early to go to work.

  On my way out, while everything is quiet and everyone is sitting down watching me leave, I trip over an elders bookbag and fell on my ass. Many of the kids ROARED with laughter. I must have looked pretty funny. I'm glad I wore underwear that day.

  i like to listen to alot of music.

  i am mostly a hard rocker, godsmack, soil, marilyn manson.

  i also like alot of rap, snoop, g-unit, kanye west, xzibit.

  Dead Milkmen!!! or Reggae...that's what I listen to when I want to get out of a mood.

  The Cure...that's what I listen to when I want to get INTO a mood...a sad one.

  NSYNC, BSB, Britney, Jessica Simpson, I am a pop-whore teeny bopper!

  But then, I'll listen to Coltrane, Miles Davis....or some other Jazz that is NOT Kenny G...I can't stand what they classify as "light" jazz (they throw Phil Collins into that genre sometimes...huh?)

  Then I'll go to sleep with John Mayer or Coldplay, or Dave Matthews, maybe Norah Jones...

  I guess I like almost everything, really. Even Eminem sometimes.
